Donated medical equipment left Mangualde for Cuba

On Wednesday morning (May 10), a truck left Mangualde loaded with medical equipment to be donated to Cuba.

This was a solidarity initiative by the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Together International, Maferdi Rubber in partnership with various collaborators and the Portugal Cuba Friendship Association, as Ricardo Bordón, president of the NGO, said.

Cuba’s ambassador to Portugal was there to load the material. Yusmari Pérez told Dão Digital that solidarity is fundamental for the country of Cuba, which is facing international blockades.
