All over the world there are numerous examples of parcel transportation plants operating in very harsh environmental conditions that have been using Rulli Rulmeca rollers of different types/series for many years.

Rulmeca rollers are products that comply with all national and international standards: ISO, UNI, DIN, AFNOR, FEM, BS, JIS and CEMA.

Sometimes, and for various reasons, the guide may have a tendency to move sideways.

In this case, rollers with inclined vertical axes, also known as guide rollers, can be used. However, great care must be taken when using such rollers, as the forced contact of the guide rollers with the screen can damage the edges of the screen.

In addition, if the cause of the displacement is not eliminated, the screen can overrun the guide roller or bend inwards (see drawings). For these reasons, it is advisable to always use the guide rollers in their own self-centering stations, which automatically return the screen to the center of the conveyor.

The motorized drums are available from Ø 138 mm to Ø 1000 mm, with a variety of coating options to provide long-lasting movement and a longer service life.

Fully enclosed: motor, gearbox and bearings are fully enclosed and sealed inside a steel housing. The motorized pulleys have a safe, worry-free design that withstands the harshest conditions and reduces operating costs.

There are two categories of stations identified on the conveyor belt: the upper output stations, which perform the function of supporting the belt in the loading and material transport section, and the lower stations, which support the discharge belt in its return section.

The upper stations can be presented in two base configurations: flat, with a single horizontal roller, usually supported by two brackets fixed to the conveyor belt frame, on a rail, usually with 3 rollers, supported by a cross bar, also fixed to the conveyor belt frame. In the loading sections, there are also impact stations with three rollers with rubber rings or suspended in the form of a garland (adornment base) with 3 or 5 rollers.

The drums are sized on the basis of the characteristics of each conveyor belt and come in a wide variety of construction methods. Depending on the position they occupy on a conveyor belt, the drums have to withstand stresses from the belt and the load. For use in more severe working conditions, they can be supplied with linings, usually rubber, which prevent the belt from slipping (especially in the presence of water) and increase the traction capacity of the motor drums.
